Did you know that fluoride in your drinking water contains aluminum. Aluminum is a major cause of acid reflux disease, heartburn and indigestion. Aluminum may block critical minerals and other nutrients required for correct digestion. But that is not the only reason for you to avoid aluminum exposure.

Scientists have surmised for years that aluminum deposits in your brain might likewise contribute to Alzheimer’s disease in addition to numerous other disorders.

Here are some other sources of aluminum to avoid to prevent gerd, or acid reflux.:

• Aluminum cookware

• Soda pop cans

• Antacids

• Antiperspirants

• Baking powder

• Bleached flour

• Process (fake) cheese

• Table salt

• Municipal water

For your information, aluminum is part your healthy diet when obtained from natural food origins in trace quantities. All the same today you’re exposed to abnormally high quantities of aluminum from some other sources. Too much aluminum interrupts healthy mineral absorption, intervening with normal stomach acid levels, setting off painful heartburn, acid reflux and poor digestion.

Plainly put, acid reflux is generally the beginning symptom of a dangerous mineral imbalance and too much aluminum is linked with calcium, magnesium and copper insufficiencies.

The general myth is that acid reflux is made from excessive stomach acid, but a great deal than not is the lack of it that is the genuine instigator. If you have tried everything else and you are still miserable form heartburn, acid reflux and indigestion .

Is it advisable to try a different approach?

First ridding of all aluminum from your diet, including cooking with aluminum foil and eating with aluminum utensils you are able to start to make a positive change. The next step is to discover a natural way to step-up your magnesium levels. Magnesium will help your body eliminate the toxic amounts of aluminum already in your body.

Fluoride in reality Increases the absorption of aluminum into your body.

Fluoride is actually a waste product from the production of aluminum. Aluminum isn’t found as a pure origin in nature and must be extracted from a combination of different raw materials, and creating fluoride as a by product.

To make things unhealthier the FDA started allowing municipal water facilities to add Aluminum sulfate to your drinking water, as a supposed “purifier. This has been carrying on officially since 1974.

Naturally studies support the theory that the quantities are negligible. Even so I find it suspect like the beginning analyzes “demonstrating” the ant-cavity power of fluoridated water that were actually funded by the aluminum industry.

All the same before leading on health authorities that fluoride was safe, it was solely sanctioned as an insecticide or for rat poison.

If you do not believe me then I guess it is merely a coincidence that fluoride increases the absorption of aluminum and no ill-harm was intended. Yet no matter of whether it was deliberate or only really profitable is actually beside the point now, isn’t it?

And so I hope beginning today you’ll begin getting rid of aluminum from your diet and look for nature’s answer to your recurring acid reflux, heartburn and indigestion troubles.

Just drinking natural mineral water may help to stop your acid reflux, indigestion and heartburn pain. Superior mineral waters have been treasured for ages for their power to cure all kinds of sicknesses and imbalances. Restoring a healthy mineral balance has undeniably been demonstrated to improve total health.

And so what do you have to lose but your misery and misconceptions about heartburn and the chance of acquiring GERD, ulcers and leaky gut syndrome.

I truly hope you have found this natural acid reflux information helpful.

Whenever you have regular or irregular heartburn, you can help diminish the tendency of the LES to relax, and diminish the odds that the stomach contents (and stomach acid) will splash up toward the LES by keeping in mind a couple of tips for indigestion and heartburn relief:

* Avoid lying down for two to three hours after eating. When you lie down, it’s physically easier for stomach contents to splash up toward the LES. By sitting up or standing, gravity helps stomach contents stay where they belong — at the bottom of the stomach.

* Avoid items that weaken the LES muscle (like chocolate, peppermint, caffeine, alcohol, fatty foods) and foods and beverages that may irritate a damaged esophagus lining (citrus and citrus juice, tomatoes and tomato juice, and chili peppers and black pepper).

* Avoid eating large meals because the more volume in the stomach, the more likely the stomach contents will splash toward the LES. Try eating four to five small meals instead of two or three large ones. By portaion out your food, it will tax your stomach too much

* Avoid high-fat meals because they tend to stay in the stomach longer; greasy or fried foods can also weaken the LES muscle. This can help you to maintain your weight loss also.

* Avoid smoking and avoid alcohol before, during, or after meals that seem to result in heartburn (like dinner). Both can weaken the LES muscle.

* Try waiting at least two hours after a meal before exercising if you find your heartburn seems to get worse after exercise.

* Chew gum (a nonpeppermint flavor) after meals to stimulate saliva production (the bicarbonate in saliva neutralizes acid) and increase peristalsis (which helps move the stomach contents into the small intestine more quickly).

* Plan your meals to encourage slow but sure weight loss if you are overweight. Extra weight around the midsection, especially, can press against the stomach and increase the pressure going up toward the LES.

* Drink a small glass of water at the end of meals to help dilute and wash down any stomach acid that might be splashing up into the esophagus, suggests Shekhar Challa, MD, president of Kansas Medical Clinic and author of Spurn The Burn: Treat The Heat.

* Plan on heartburn-friendly beverages like water, mineral water, decaffeinated tea, noncitrus juices, or nonfat or low-fat milk. Beverages to avoid include:
- Sodas: These can bloat the abdomen, increasing the pressure in the stomach and encouraging stomach acid to splash up into the esophagus.
- Juices: Tomato and citrus juices can irritate a damaged esophagus.
- Alcoholic beverages, coffee (even decaf) and caffeinated tea and cola can increase the acid content in the stomach as well as relax the LES.

* Eat a high fiber diet! A recent study found that people who followed a high-fiber meal plan were 20% less likely to have acid reflux symptoms, regardless of their body weight. You’ll find fiber in whole grains, fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts and seeds (basically unprocessed plant foods).

The will help get your digestive system balanced back out. I have actually done the above when experience serious acid reflux. It was purely accidental. I had been “treating” but never cured.

We added the digestive enzymes and probiotics for another reason. But I noticed that after a week or so on this regimen, I no longer needed a glass of milk to quell the acid reflux at bedtime.

Natural Acid Reflux Video

Question That I received:

I frequently have heartburn or GERD during the daytime and when I lie down at night. Recently however, around once every 2 weeks I get an episode of violent backup of a really acidic substance into my esophagus when I’m sleeping.

It awakens me abruptly and moves me out of bed. I cough and consume water and swallow liquid Gaviscon to make it lessen. Then I must keep upright for twenty minutes or so before getting back to bed. What does this sound like? Do you think I should go for examinations? Which tests? Does this increase the risk of my acquiring cancer in my esophagus?

Answer From Natural Acid Reflux Site:

Heartburn is the standard symptom of gastroesophageal reflux disease also called Gerd. This very common circumstance happens when the sphincter that acts as a roadblock between the esophagus and stomach loosens up briefly, allowing the stomach contents to actually reflux into the esophagus.

Stomach fluids are then capable of traveling “upward” into the esophagus even while we’re standing upright because the pressure in the abdomen (where the stomach rides) is greater than the pressure level in the chest (this is where the esophagus is positioned).

As luck would have it, additional factors are normally in attendance to neutralize this pressure differential. Foremost, the esophagus usually contracts (particularly after you swallow), and this sends off a wave travelling downwards the entire distance of the esophagus, propelling the food right down into your stomach and clearing up the esophagus. Therefore, whatever stomach juices that reflux upward into the esophagus are transported back down.

Saliva is likewise a protecting element since it facilitates to counteract the acid brought up into the esophagus. Additionally, gravitation functions as an all important purpose. Because the esophagus is higher than the stomach while we’re standing up, this aids to limit exposure of the esophagus to stomach juices.
Folks with GERD normally experience worsened reflux after meals (since the raised volume of contents in the stomach contributes to even higher pressures) and at nighttime (since when you lie down, you lose the preventative outcome of gravity). Doctors frequently advocate GERD patients to consume smaller meals, to avert from consuming late at nighttime, and to go to sleep with the head of the bed raised.

Though these uncomplicated measures frequently help, almost all patients will also expect medicines to restrain stomach acid output. This includes cimetidine (Tagamet), ranitidine (Zantac) and omeprazole (Prilosec), to identify just a couple of medicines.

In your instance, it seems that you have GERD with day time reflux. Your assaults when you are asleep sound equivalent to standard night time reflux. The acid tasting is the stomach acid that’s refluxed the whole way up to the back of your throat.

You cough at this time since you’re in all probability drawing in little amounts of the acid into your trachea (windpipe). Duplicated sequences of aspiration could extend to laryngitis, asthma attack or even pneumonia.

You have already ascertained that drinking water improves your symptoms. That is since the fluid clears the stomach juices from the esophagus and returns into the stomach. Whenever you drink milk or consume an anti acid such as Maalox, it could even assist neutralize the acid. Sitting down or standing upright permits gravity to keep the acid in the stomach, and permits you to recuperate!

The inquiry is, what ought you do at present? If you have not visited a doctor because of your symptoms, you had better do so, to talk about methods to minimize the probabilities of symptoms repeating. Patients with day-to-day reflux generally are required to ingest frequent doses of an acid-suppressing medicine. Frequently, an additional dose of medicine is required at bedtime for people that tend to reflux at nighttime.

You ought likewise think about receiving an endoscopy, a test that calls for putting a little tube into the esophagus and stomach to search for changes that might happen with reflux disease.

This could include little ulcers in the esophagus (made from the acid). The findings might guide the treatment, dependent on how serious the changes are. An endoscopy is frequently done in patients whose pattern of GERD varies, as in your example with the emergence of your nighttime symptoms.
In conclusion, although your symptoms in and of itself is not a grounds for alarm regarding a danger for cancer, GERD does increase the risk for a condition called Barrett’s mucosa.

This is a change in the appearance of the interior lining of the lower esophagus and can cause chronic reflux harm. Over years, Barrett’s mucosa could lead to cancer in a small amount of patients.

Although Barrett’s is rare (it is discovered in lower than five percent of patients who go through endoscopy), numerous gastroenterologists find that somebody who’s experienced GERD for a long time or whose symptoms are growing more serious (as yours are) had better have an endoscopy to look for it.
